Obedience Training at Selten Ruhe Kennels!

Congratulations to Mitch for becoming a certified USA Helper for Training.

Boot Camp:  $350 This is a two week course where we put the dog through multiple exercises daily to increase her focus and teach her obedience. At the end of the two weeks your dog will; walk on a loose leash, sit, stay, down and here on command. She will also learn basic manners when meeting a stranger on leash. Your dog must stay with us for this two week course. 

AIT (Advanced Individual Training): This course varies in length depending on the dog and the Individual Training requested. You and your dog must meet with us and give us a description of your needs in order to receive an estimate for cost and time.

Due to the high demand and success of the above training we are not offering group obedience classes at this time.

We are members in good standing of the USA, GSDCA-WDA, and APDT. We have trained obedience, personal protection, scent dogs, mushing, schutzhund and estate dogs. I started training obedience while working at a Veterinary Clinic in Lansing, MI 23 years ago. Since then I have trained all breeds in obedience, personal protection, mushing, schutzhund, estate work and scent work. Mitch started 10 years ago and has worked primarily with large breeds in obedience, personal protection and shutzhund.

We work with all breeds of dogs and use positive methods of training and tailor our methods to meet the needs of the individual dogs and handlers. Our training emphasizes precise obedience with outstanding focus and attention.
