Just a Few Letters from Satisfied Customers (references available):
Thanks so much for the visit! We loved your place and I am soooo excited about the puppy! I wrote down some of the reasons I decided to purchase a dog from you. I was very impressed by: -hip certification -you obviously care deeply about your dogs. Anyone that would stay up all night long with their dog while she takes forever to have her pups is very committed. (one of the places I visited just let the dogs have the puppies whenever out back in the kennels and checked on them in the morning, which is probably okay, but....). I was very impressed with the whelping room you built and the boom box!! -I liked the fact that you weren't as concerned about breeding for color but put your emphasis on temperament and quality. -you so far are the only place that had us disinfect our shoes -the photo album - you want to see what your puppies grow into! I really like the idea that I can stay in contact with you. I got the impression from a couple of other breeders that once they sell the pups, they weren't too concerned. - you made us feel welcome and took the time to show us around, answer questions, etc. Thanks!! Ruth
(Nisa x Cain pup) Just wanted to send you a quick line about Juneau. He is doing great and is such a good pup. He's a confident little bugger, so far nothing has scared him. He is very attracted to people. On the way home we took him on a few short walks and he always tried to follow people. He would whine when Alyssa was out of sight. He's pretty pretentious but he is listening. Right now we are working on housebreaking and doing pretty good, as long as I'm in the position to be able to take him outside once every hour or so. He had a few accidents the first day and since then, hasn't. We're taking him to the same spot and using lots of praise and an occasional treat. Right now we are working on what is acceptable to chew and what isn't. He's working on my moose jawbone right now. He will try to play bite us and I am discouraging that. He took to his crate right away, he went in to it on his own accord. He likes to be underneath things, especially when sleeping, so that was a natural I guess. He's waking me up only once or twice a night to go potty and then settles pretty quickly. I had forgotten how much puppies sleep during the day. So no complaints!! Everyone is telling us how beautiful he is! I am telling everyone how GOOD he is! Will send a photo soon.
(Cado x Timbo pup 3 months old) Fritzi is doing great. All 27 pounds of her. She has learned to sit on command and to shake hands (paws). She is close to being house broken (she does know what is right & wrong). She loves to go in the car (truck) and rides great (we keep her in a travel kennel when riding). We are extreemly happy with her and very pleased that we came to you folks to get her.
(Meika x Samos pup 3 months old)I wanted you to know that Ascher is doing great. We do plan on coming to some more classes, we just wanted him to get a little bit older. Ascher is currently enrolled in a puppy class at Petsmart and he is the star of the class. He learns most things really fast, but coming and droping are still issues, he is very dominant. He also likes to chase cars and still has major issues with the cats, do you have any suggestions for this? He hasn't had an accident in the house in over a month and he can now go through the night in his crate without any problems. In fact sometimes it's hard to get him to come out in the morning. He weighs 40 lbs now but his weight gain is slowing down a bit. His ears are up but lean in because they are so big, I expect them to drop again when he starts getting his adult teeth. Hope to see you soon and I'll send pics. soon as well. I also refered you to a neighbor. Ascher is our neighborhood center of attention, everyone wants to meet and pet him and all the other dogs want to come over and visit. Ascher is great with kids and he is really gentle with other dogs. He plays with another puppy in class that only weighs 5 lbs, but they are best buds, it is very funny to watch them play.
(Veska x Onyx pup just 2 days after going home, 7 weeks old) Just wanted to let you know Emma is doing great. She is such a sweet dog. We think she has grown already! She seems longer. I think she was a little homesick yesterday morning, but is still doing well. Much easier transition than we had planned on. She sleeps in the crate in our room at night and has done pretty well. Last night we were only up a couple of times. She is even housetraining well. By last night she was going by the door and dancing around. We have only had two accidents! We keep a pretty close eye on her. I think she really prefers to go outside. Yesterday it was beautiful out here so she got lots of time with us playing in the back yard. She was getting brave and checking it all out. Today she is having a quiet day. I am off, but took the kids to daycare. They keep her quite busy when they are around! She was sad when they left. She even likes her crate. We keep that blanket in there for her to lay her head on. If she lays down outside of the crate the kids cover her up like a baby. We leave the door open and she goes in when she needs some alone time. | (Asia x Gabor pup 8 weeks old, the day after picking the puppy up from the airport in Texas) He is the beautifullest dog, if that is a word. He is gorgeous and huge, I think his paws are the size of a two year old's hands ("Dale" is the largest puppy we have had at 18 pounds at 7 weeks and 5 days old). I am just tickled with him and he is wonderful. Last night I didn't even sleep with my wife I slept with the dog. My wife did a wonderful job (surprise birthday present) and Thank you very much for helping us and for such a great dog.
(Cado x Timbo pup 7 months old) Hi Natasha, just wanted to let you know how Gerry Lee is doing. She is so beautiful! She weighs about 60 lbs. and has very sharp teeth! She loves going for rides in the car, going for walks and of course chewing up my carpet! I absolutely love her and wanted to thank you very much! She's the best!
(Ida - Cado x Timbo female, Ruger - Meika x Samos male) I am really sorry that it has taken so long to write. Ruger and Ida are doing great! They are growing rather quickly. Ida is 8 months and weighs 70 pounds. Ruger is 6 months and weighs 74 pounds. Ida just completed her dog obedience II class and Ruger just started his dog obedience I class. We just had Ida fixed last week and she is recovering just fine. We will wait until Ruger is at least a year before we neuter him. They get along great and have bonded to both Steve and I with no problems. We do not have them together yet but will once Ruger is fixed. They take walks together eveyday. They both have such different characters. Ida is hyper she tries to get in as many licks as she can and really covers alot of ground when she is in the pasture. Ruger is more laid back but lets us know whenever anyone or anything is in the yard. Will keep you up dated on the herding training. I just purchased a couple of VHS tapes on herding and we will start training in a couple of months. In the tape they suggested putting on a soft muzzle if the dog bites too hard. I was thinking of your dog and how he bites the pigs too hard. Anyway, Thanks again for our wonderful pets and I will do better at staying in touch.
(Dabsi x Timbo pup 6 months old)Sorry it has been so long actually we didn’t want you to update Greco on your website until he was a big boy!!! Lol how have you Guys been Greco is awesome!! Here is a picture of him taken tonight while he was watching another dog walk down the street! He is 6 months and about 3 weeks old and he weighs 75 lbs! but I think he is right on track in aspect of weight and size, he is actually kind of ribby but the vet said it is better to keep him a little skinny right now, because it puts less stress on his hips and elbows! But anyway he is doing great and we are to! Thanks for the best dog in the world!!!
(Dabsi x Timbo pup 4 months old) Hi it's me Stefani the family that recieved Major from Dabsi & Timbo's litter. Sorry I haven't send pictures or informed you on how he is doing. Well he is doing VERY GOOD we have been enjoying every moment with him he is growing so big so fast. We get compliemts all the time on how beautiful he is we are very proud of him and we THANK you so much for such a wonderful pup. Hope you enjoy the pictures and I will keep in touch.
(Dabsi x Timbo pup 4 months old)Hi there! Its been awhile since we sent some pictures, but here they are. He is doing really great, his 4 month b-day was yesterday and he weighs about 45 lbs. He has been a great dog and we couldn’t be happier! Very smart and has learned a variety of commands (sit, down, stay, high five, shake). We’re still working diligently on heel, leave it/drop it, and come. He still loves to chew as he is starting to get his adult teeth– but we haven’t had anything ruined, yet.His favorite thing to get ahold of is the remote b/c he knows he’ll get chased around the house– its very funny and naughty at the same time. He really loves his baby pool and running outside. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
(Spirit x Samos pup 8 months old) I’ve been meaning to drop a line, letting you know how happy we are with Copper! He has really completed our family. The kids’ only complaint is that he grew sooo fast. Copper has really kept us busy. When he was little, we took to calling him “Chomper” because he liked to bite, anything and everything. Then, he swallowed one of the kid’s beanie babies whole! It got stuck. That was a $1200 lesson! But he’s doing great, growing like crazy, always wants to play. I enclosed a picture from approximately 4 months old. I see Sammy in him. I see you have more puppies. Feel free to use us for recommendations, though I doubt you need any.
(Cado x Ufo pup 3 montsh old) Hi guys, I wanted to give you an update on Freya (formerly Jesse). She has had her first two vet appointments and all her shots and did very well. She is all set to be spayed at the end of November. She is a very healthy girl! She is growing so quickly! She was 18 pounds on 9/6 and 31 pounds at 10/2 (if I had the same weight gain in one month I would weigh 359!) Her growth is stable and appropriate according to her doctor. She has acclimated to life here in Boston beautifully. Her temperament is fantastic with people and other dogs. She has puppy playmates and about 100 teenagers who just simply love her. She and I have bonded beautifully. She comes to the office with me everyday and doesn't need to spend more than an hour or two alone in her crate at any time. What a trainable dog! She has only had two accidents in the house since I brought her home and both of those were my fault for not listening. She is sit/staying before she eats her food and is getting to understand her leash commands, but I am keeping that very low-key at this point. Yesterday she had her first experience at the ocean - she had a blast! She dug big holes and chased the waves as the tide came in. I have attached a few pictures of her. Feel free to use me as a reference, you were wonderful to do business with and Freya is an absolute rock star!
(Freya 10 months old) I appreciate you reaching out. Freya is, quite simply, deeply and unconditionally loved. She goes to work with me every day, everyone is getting to know her and those that know her feel how gentle her soul is. We romp through the woods a few times each day. She loves chasing blowing leaves, thrown sticks and snowballs. She is on the Nature's Variety raw diet; so she is well execised and fed. Her temperment is one I wish for all dogs and their owners. Thank you so much! She is curled up next to me while I write this and, I think she wants to know what her brothers and sisters are up to. I attached a couple of pictures so you can see how beautifully she is maturing. She went through her spaying like a rock-star and still has about 30 pounds more to grow (according to my vets best guess - she is about 70 today).
